Head of the kitchen at Sala Thai in Santiburi Koh Samui brings over a decade of expertise in Thai cuisine. Starting as a Demi Chef de Partie in 2017, Chef Pop’s passion for traditional Thai flavors and sustainable practices quickly propelled him to Junior Sous Chef. His role encompasses menu creation, procurement, cost control, and staff training, ensuring every dish is both authentic and nutritionally balanced. Originating from Isaan, Thailand, Chef Pop’s culinary style reflects the region’s emphasis on seasonal ingredients and unique flavors.
His signature dishes include Panang beef curry, Samui lobster curry, and Yam Som O Goong, all crafted with local produce. Chef Pop’s dedication to traditional techniques and sustainable practices, along with his rich background and training, contribute to Sala Thai’s renowned dining experience.
